Max, I had a thought late last night or sometime this morning, not
sure which now.

Could these garbled messages appear when you get multiple simultaneous
new email notification? You'll probably need Listener to tell, or have
a gander on the xAP POP3 console if you run that version rather than
the service.

At the moment the SliMP3 Connector doesn't queue up display messages
such that each gets its alloted display time. There's no support for
prioritisation yet either. One of these days... As a result one
message will get overwritten by the next, blam, blam, blam.

I'm wondering if that could be it. I've had my Slim in double height
mode for a little while, although I've taken the xAP apps off my
Server as they all flood my Listener with messages when I'm testing
the new plugin runtime configuration. I guess I need to allow Listener
to only register local PC messages. ANYway, in my limited testing I've
not noticed any double height message garbling so far.

I will do some more testing though.
