Hi,
I don't know much about the phone Andy is asking about, but the Nexus
model (which 3 seem to offer) may be a better bet.
The Nexus range get a large amount of support directly via google, and
are curated by google to a greater extent than other android devices. It
means you normally do get OS upgrades, and are usually one of the first
to get them.
Most other Android devices generally get left to stagnate on an Android
version very close to the one they ship with, and if they do get
upgrades it's usually a not for months after the Nexus range get them.
