Re: low cost wind speed switch



I had a similar problem with our fountain, not just when it's very
windy, but when the temp falls below zero.

I'm using Homeseer, and donwloaded Jon00's BBC weather plugin which also
gives, amongst other things, current wind speed.  The BBC get the data from
your local weather station i think.

In Homeseer i have the fountain switched on at 8am only if the temp is
above 8c, and the wind is below 15mph.  If either the temp or the wind
values change and become outside of my criteria, the fountain switches off.
If the conditions aren't met at 8am, the fountain stays off until they are.
