I just thought I'd report back in case anyone else was thinking of
doing th=
is. Don't bother, it's not a useable solution.

I bought a complete kit from Techtoniq, plus two extra clamps and an
applia=
nce monitor. The accuracy of the main unit is sort of just about useable
fo=
r monitoring trends (under reads by about 12% but this varies). The clamps
=
for the extra two phases are a complete waste of money - under read by 25%
=
to 50%, and the total bears no relation to the sum of each one taken
separa=
tely.
The Techtoniq software isn't up to much either.

Can anyone recommend me a budget energy monitoring system to keep track of
=
usage
in our office? I'm looking for something that will monitor several
circuits=
(3
minimum) and show a graph of consumption against time for each circuit.
