Not wishing to be a harbinger of doom, but my lat PSU failure took the Mobo
and both HDDs with it - there were burn marks on the chips of the HDD
controller boards. It was an expensive Antec PSU and when I complained
they helpfully said the PSU has design features to stop this happening and
closed the ticket.

You can get a PSU from almost anywhere - blag one out of an old PC for a
couple of days - Maplin etc. If yu are REALLY desperate you might even try
the "Household Refuse Recycling Centre" AKA tip - there are any
number of machines there - you could poach a couple of PSUs to tide you
over.

I have a spare one if you are local to Daventry.

Hope its turns out OK.

Tim.
