Fw: C-Bus wireless, X10 or Z-Wave?

There is another option. And that is Comfort (or another control
system)=20
talking to an RFXCom module to control the HomeEasy/Domia Lite/other range=
=20
of control devices, which are very very cheap. Trying to get that to match=
=20
with Comfort has been like getting blood from a stone, even with the new=20
Universal UCM but it's possible. Badgering Cytech may help.

Mostly because the data rate of the rfxcom module is odd (4800 np2 i=20
think)

Hi all,

Having just moved house and said goodbye to my previous hard-wired C-Bus=20
installation, I'm looking for options to automate my lights, however I'm=20
not in a position to run any additional cabling.

On the plus side, my back boxes all seem to be 35mm deep and appear to=20
have a neutral present.

So, what are my options?

I'd rather stay away from X10 as I've used it in the past and have got=20
used to the reliability/speed/quality appearance of the C-Bus switches.

I no very little about Z-Wave, but there seems to be a shortage of=20
good-looking switches here in the UK.
(although I'm happy to be proved wrong)

So that leaves me with C-Bus wireless.

Has anybody used it, and can they comment on its reliability.
At around =A3200 per switch it's not cheap.

TIA,

John
