Thanks for that.  Fore the more complicated scenes stuff I use Comfort.  I
send a single X10 command on the P house group and then it sends out
multiple X10 dim level commands to up to 4 / 5 light sets in each room. 
Works pretty well and does just need that one IR code from the remote. 
Sounds like this may mean Harmony One is the approach.

(This Comfort approach works well.  Only downside is that Comfort can only
interpret / handle codes from the single house code so its 16+4 max scenes
that it can do.  Just about enough for my needs!)
