I reckoned it was worth offering you lot first dibbs before I put this
on ebay...

This is a Lantech FE-B2401-F 24 port Fast Ethernet (100M) managed switch
with Fast Fibre Module fitted.

Fully functional (well I can't vouch for the fibre module, as I never
used that bit, but the blinkenlights do their thing), I've just replaced
it with some shiny Procurve gigabit goodness. There is some major
cosmetic damage to the top of the case (caused by screws protruding from
the bottom of the router which was immediately above it in the rack),
but the front panel looks fine. Most critically for HA purposes, this
switch is *fanless*, so runs silently.

Photos and manual here: <http://www.ductilebiscuit.net/stuff/b240f/>

Say £35 plus postage (probably around a tenner, given the weight).

There's almost nothing about this on the web, so from the manual:

Conforms to IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3z, and 802.3x standard
24x auto-sensing 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet RJ-45 ports
Automatic MDI/MDIX crossover for each 10Base-T/ 100Base-TX port
One Console port on the front panel for port configuration, VLAN,
Trunking, etc.
One extension slot for Optional Gigabit SX/LX, 1000Base-T module or
Stacking Module
Half-duplex mode for backpressure, and full-duplex for flow control
Store-and-forwarding switching architecture for abnormal packet filtering
Non-blocking configuration ( Up to 9.6Gbps Bandwidth )
32K-entry MAC address table
4M memory buffer sharing
LED-indicators for Power, 100M, LK/ACT. FL/COL statuses
19-inch standard Rack-mounted size
