Sorry Tracey!

VFC = Volt Free Contact, in other words, a pair of contacts used as an
input to switch something rather than supplying a voltage in to a piece
of equipment.

It's commonly used in Process and Heat, Vent and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
control.
