I think you're exactly right.
The aerial is a bit high up for me so had a local engineer come out free of
charge to take a look. Now having a wide band aerial fitted and hopefully
that will solve the issue. Also taking the oppurtunity to fit an amplifier
so that the various other feeds around the house will work equally well.
