Asterisk / Trixbox and HA examples?

Just getting Trixbox working again under VMWare Server.

Just looking for some inspiration as to the things I can do with it -
obviously want the standard VM delivered to email and also want to look
into creating an intelligent IVR aspect that can route calls and do some
clever 'stuff' in getting data and controlling some basic aspects of my
current system i.e. possibly using it to replace the Comfort telephone
features.

So, looking for some examples of what people have done with Asterisk ...
