Re: Asterisk / Trixbox and HA examples?

Hi Paul,

If you haven't gone too far yet with Trixbox I'd recommend switching to PBX
In A Flash (www.pbxinaflash.com)

I've just migrated from a Trixbox physical machine to a PIAF virtual
machine. I'd used Trixbox CE for years, but was getting frustrated at the
direction the project was going in.

PIAF seems to be under better control with more active development.

Mine integrates with 4 FXO lines (2 landline, 2 GSM) and 8 FXS extensions
so
it's all IP based into the PBX itself (meaning it was actually pretty easy
to virtualise).

I've also got half a dozen or so VOIP providers and some carefully crafted
dial plans to make sure each call takes the cheapest route (there's even
Skype integration via Gizmo5).

I haven't done much in the way of using it for HA yet, although I do use
Gregg Limming's xAP connector to get Asterisk events / data onto my xAP
network.

I think the xAP connector also supports IVR stuff too, so it would be
pretty
simple to get Phone Call <-> IVR <-> xAP <-> HA
Controller of your choice.

Cheers,

Martyn
