RE: Optical sensors - water softener
Thanks Frank.
I actually have one of those unused!
I wouldn't think it would last long in a moist, salty environment though -
as I see in the equipment cabinet of my fish tank - salt corrodes metal
very quickly - I wonder if his sensor is still OK?
Mmm, interesting though but maybe the optical beam break type would work
better and be simpler to implement?
