But those are just the six Mac Remote buttons, I sent Ken those the other
day - I think Ken was after the additional functionality codes that you
were
talking about from the Harmony.

Good! I don't want a device that does everything - I don't want units
scattered around the house that all work independently. I don't want five
Macs all with TV tuners and all recording independently. I don't want it to
tell me the weather, what my stocks and shares are doing, play my music
with
some dodgy looking "visualization" and display my photos. (That
was always
one of my gripes with XBMC too if you remember - my requirement was always
to be able to play DVDs off the network, complete with menus where
necessary, with as little fuss as possible.)

Ideally for "TV" I would like a single central
"recorder" which can be set
to record from anywhere on the network (web interface?) but at least where
its recordings can be accessed from anywhere on the network. :-D
