This should be really simple  - is he going to use Outlook or
something similar - it should be able to run scripts when emails come
in (check rules or filters)
which could then simply send the command to the domia lite controller
using wget for windows ( http://pages.interlog.com/~tcharron/wgetwin.html

as I said the domia lite controller has an http interface and iirc
someone on here actually wrote the software for it in the first place!
