Re: Dimmable LEDs (GU10s)
Yes I've been studying these and they do look non dimmable.=0D
Various places sell them and the descriptions vary=0D
I don't want to spend 40/50 quid to find out!!=0D

Curious that the Philips brochure linked to from that page (http://www.lite=
bulbs.co.uk/documents/philipsled.pdf) describes the range as >non<
dimmable=
!? (last line on the bottom of the product table).=0D

Hi,=0D
=0D
Does the fact that these LEDs and some CFLs are dimmable mean that they =0D
can be controlled by automation though? I thought one of the issues were =
=0D
that some types of timeswitrch and electronic switch power themselves by =
=0D
putting a trickle current through the incandescent load which causes =0D
problems for "modern" lighting?=0D
=0D
I've a few (non-HA) security timeswitches that I'd like to move to CFL =0D
or LED so I'd be interested in views.=0D
=0D
Thanks,=0D
