I've got a Yamaha RXV 359, the instructions have a line about how the
digital and analog audio is separate and the record output will only have
the analogue sources.  I've had a look at a couple of Onkyo user manuals
and those were the same even tho the Onkyo's do video upconversion i.e.
from composite to hdmi etc, they don't do the same on the sound!
