Yeah - I had a cheaper gigabit switch a few years ago which was
incredibly =
noisy (fans). In the end I went for an SMC Tigerswitch 24 port which was

gnificantly quieter although around =A3370 or so IIRC.

You can get fanless switches but they tend to be the lower number of ports
=
(16 max when I was last looking IIRC???).
