Stepping up 120v - 240v - can the Hz be converted too?

Happy new year all.

I need to convert 110v - 240v, for which there's a bunch of wall-warts
on eBay that'll do the trick(eg: http://tinyurl.com/8z2sox ).

The problem I might have is that it's for a digital clock, which having
plugged it into 110v actually works, except it runs fast, which I assume
is because I'm on 60Hz over here (US), and it's designed for 50Hz. So,
does anyone know if these converters also convert the Hz, or, if not,
whether there's something cheap I can do?

Thanks, Pete
