Jokes aside, I'm torn.  My mobo only has 4 sata slots that will spin
down.  My 5th 1Tb drive is on all the time - not ideal.  My choices are
move over to 2Tb and use the 1Tb for "on the shelf" backups
(which feels
like a criminal waste!), buy a sata card (but the only ones known to
spin drives down are the Adaptec ones that cost a fortune), or buy
another mobo...

All will cost large $$$, but at least the 2Tb drive option would result
in data being backed up.

If only I could wait until the 5Tb drives come out next year...
