Re: Getting data out of 'CurrentCosts' with on a Mac.



Seems like a "Dummies" guide to the command line would be
helpful ;)

If I'm not mistaken, you'll have perl installed by default, right?
Have a look at the following post on my blog:
http://awooga.nl/current-cost-classic-vs-cc128
and amend the line

$port = "/dev/currentcost";

to read

$port = "/dev/tty.usbserial";

and run it as follows:

$ perl <scriptname.pl>

Should give you a starting point at least :)
