I'm always a little confused so that's not a suprise :-)

There are 2 units - the video unit has 3 video boards fitted. Each
board has 16 inputs and 8 outputs. One board is used for each er..
component of component video - Y, Pb, Pr = the Reg, Green and Blue
plugs

The audio matrix actaully has 3 audio board fitted meany 3 X 16
inputs/8 Outputs. Which is enough for 16 inputs/8 outputs of Stereo
Left/right and 1 other channel.

In a nutshell - both units together will give 16 inputs 8 outputs of
component video and Stereo Audio (plus one other audio channel.

It that any clearer or have I made things worse :-) ?
Cheers
Kevin.
