I don't think it would be running any OS in the traditional sense,

Most of the frames from them are running Haier 1018 photo frame chips.
Id say without cracking this open its likely to be a haier 2022, same as

1018 but with a dvb tuner in it.
If I remember correctly the cores are intel 8080 clones.
They also have 8-bit emulators in them for education games as the
manufacture puts it (Read NES roms)
