Can I get one for me?... - in other words, can *I* be microchipped,

have my front door automatically recognize me?...

Not in the spirit of this group as it isn't a "knit your own"
solution,
but our daughter has a commercially sourced catflap that reads her cat's
implanted microchip. No collar transponder, just the grain of rice sized
thingy that the vet put in. Cool??
