Re: best HD media player to replace xbmc



In a bit of an answer to my own question,

Found one of these
http://www.elgato.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/products/tuner/250plus/product1.en.html
after following a link from the Hauppauge web site
(http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products/data_hvr900mac.html)
as it
would appear that Hauppauge uses the software from Elgato

Mmmmm - things are getting interesting... Have been trying to see if
Plex supports this kind of stuff but the site has been off line due to a
HD failure (apparently!) so waiting for that to come back.
