Yep - the 'two unit' high tower version - if you get my meaning -
although it is only one unit.
Its a real shame, as it did seem to power for a while without tripping
anything, was just getting the 'didn't we do well' feeling you get when
something actually seems to work after being attacked with a soldering
iron!

As for the batteries, I'm looking to see what I can use them in -
another UPS rather than getting rid, as the little thing I have at the
moment needs the batteries replacing as well. For what I'm running the
2200 I think would have given days runtime (maybe not! but you get my
meaning). don't know if the 1000's use the same batteries and if they
would work better. (If it uses one rather than two - then I already have
a spare!)

All depends on price at this point - and how good the mood is from the
missus, although the beeping that goes off at the moment what seems to
be every 8 hours or so could be a good convincer to get a new USP :)
