Re: Cumulus Weather software (free) now supports xAP and the Maplin weather station

I believe the Maplin one is the same unit (W-8681)  but there is also
a
W-8680 unit as well.    According to the manufacturer the W-8681 has no
inbuilt atomic clock - which conflicts with the Waters and Stanton
detail... and also Maplins FAQ.    Both are supposed to be on 868Mhz but
Maplin purchasers have said there's are on 433Mhz.despite the box saying
868Mhz - and apparently they dont have the atomic clock --    clear as mud
!
