I have a Sony Reader and I would not part with it for nothing!

But I do agree that it is meant for bookworms - it does just one thing
but it does it perfectly... That is, it is best suited for text (i.e.
reflowable) publications, fixed-size documents or drawings etc. do
much worse (although I do have some scans of cartoons as well...).

E-ink is much better on the eyes, although of course it does need
external light source (and so do books). As for battery... let me just
say that I have returned from a week-long trip (it was fully charged
before then), during which I have read one long novel and a half of
another one and it is quite possible that I will end this one without
a recharge!
