Yes. That is the point of the NMT devices. They all have a Rj-45
connector capable of 100Mbps. The devices can then stream from a
server on the network. From reading you can stream a DVD from the
copied VOB, create the DVD as an ISO and then stream or transcode the
DVD to something like h264 / MPEG4. Bear in mind that transcoding a
DVD to a MPEG4 file is very CPU intensive.

The Popcorn Hour is not the only device out there, also consider Tivx,
IStar, eGreat, etc. Just check the central CPU, the output resolution
and the connectors.
