Hi all,

Basically I was looking for a shorter IDE cable for my WHS box today, and I
found an old Logitech web cam full of dusts in my parts bin.

So instead of throwing it away, I thought I could plug it into the WHS and
have it as a simple CCTV - seeing as the WHS box is on 24/7 anyway. At
least
I can tell whether the missus is home yet from my office.

My requirements are simple.
- Being able to record an image every few seconds
- Being able to stream video (preferably with sound) over the network
- Would be nice to have motion detection, but not necessary
- Would be nice to record video (preferably in Mpeg4 format), but not
necessary

Looked at a few software packages on the net, but they look rubbish and out
dated...

So has anyone got any suggestions please?
