Mains socket extension leads

'would quite like to have mains sockets that can be pulled from the
wall when needed - ie: ordinary socket sometimes, extension lead when
needed ... 'bit like the cable that goes back into the vacuum-
cleaner, only a socket rather than a plug ? But have seen such a
thing ...
