There's two types of CLID technology in use in the UK:
(a) BT own (as they'd rather invent a new standard themselves than use
an existing one)
(b) the USA Bell standard form of CLID as used by NTL/Telewest and
most(all?) other UK telcos
I'm not sure if Russia use the Bell CLID format but I'd doubt it.
