Wow, is this some new regulation? Our switches are all at 1500mm, which
seems like a nice height to me. There is also some regulation that new
sockets need to be half way up the wall rather than in the skirting
board as is traditional.

If this madness continues, sockets will be where switches were and we'll
all have to work switches with our feet!
