RE: CCTV

Hi Aaron, not sure if you got a reply for your questions?

=20

I use Geovision with 12 cameras (iirc, it is in storage as my house is
bein=
g
sold!)

=20

I bought a lovely PTZ camera and tried to set pre-sets until I eventually
found out you need a very expensive camera to do this! At =A3800 I thought
=
I
had!!! It appears Geovision is capable of this but you need a camera that
can also do this! I was not told this when buying the camera=85=85

Geovision is a very good system, loads it can do but maybe overkill for a
small office? It has a good web interface that can control PTZ cameras as
well as the usual stuff.

IP cameras seem a good bet nowadays but not too sure of the recording side
of things?

Hi all,

I currently looking at installing some CCTV at my small office and was=20
looking for some advice?

I've been looking at GeoVision, If anyone can comment, suggest=20
anything, experiance(s), it would be much appreciated.

I've been looking at the Geovision DVR system, with Pan Tilt and Zoom=20
Cameras.

Can the cameras continuously PTZ a specfied area?
Also, can the cameras be controlled from a PC?

regards, Aaron=20
