the Chroma part of the signal and/or your switcher is not S-video
compatible and/or there's a cabling problem.

What if you plug the graphics card directly into the KAT5 sender? Do
you get a colour picture then? What cables are you using to carry the
signal from the graphics card to the switcher and then from there to
the transmitter module?

I thought Keene did a reasonable one, but looking there just now I
couldn't seem to see the one I remembered. I'll look in my catalogue
later & post the link/model #.
