X10 rcd problem

Good morning
In my new build I have used a few X10 devices. Reason for X10 was driven by
my choice of Powermax alarm and I liked the idea of using its X10
capability.
Among others, I have Marmitek AD10 units (from Letsautomate) in a DIN
cabinet. One of them, (only used with momentary make switches as I haven't
installed the alarm yet) went bang. It was driving 24 GU10 led
downlighters.
I have had an occasional RCD trip problem where I had failed to find the
cause. It has got worse recently and seems to be associated with another
Marmitek AD10 circuit, again momentary make switches. This time the load is
17 cfl GU10s.
Questions.
1. Have other X10 users had reliability problems, and are Marmitek any
worse than other makes?
2. Am I right that my earth leakage problem must be the module and not the
load circuit? Assuming no wiring faults GU10 is 2 pin and I don't expect a
leak to earth fault.
Appreciate any shared experience
Rgds
Peter
