I am going to be setting up a NAS using Free NAS - http://www.freenas.org/
as a selection of 8 VMWare Images (probably 1TB Growing images), that can
be moved onto different hard drives as my (Windows 2000) server grows.
(Raid 10?)

FreeNas also supports Domain based Authentication.
