Geovision question?

I'm having issues with a Geovision cards and I know quite a few of you
on
this list have them. It's a GV800 16 port card, but two of the ports (6 and
7) don't seem to be working (though it's difficult to be sure with all the
balums and cabling)...
I've got the version with the two HD15 D adapters which have 8 BNC
connectors (and one has 4 phono connectors). My question is can these Blue
and Black adapters be safely swapped over? As one has audio connectors
(though they're not being used) and the other hasn't? This would at least
prove if it's the wiring/adapters or Geovision card itself...
I thought the GV cards were supposed to be pretty robust, is this not the
case?
