Has any of the magic smoke escaped?

Does/did the PC stay powered up 24*7, in a fairly constant environment, or
was it only powered up when needed / stored in a garage/ similar?

(I'm thinking thermal stress in the joints)

*mumbles* they just don't build them the way the used too :-(
