If the price difference is not too much then it makes identifying
cables
much easier =96 most drops are for 2 module single gang plates in my build

so
using 2 separate colours meant I did not worry when the cables got cut back
in the rooms and had their cable markings removed or need to keep checking
if I was terminating the right cable when I finally got round to finishing
off my installation. It=92s also useful to use a different colour when the
cable is for a specific non-standard use =96 might be for multiroom audio

specialist control use for example.
