It's a fair point, but I suppose that if you only have a TV and DVD
player, you don't really need a universal remote. The only real issue I
have with mine is that it only supports 15 devices. :-)
My wife thinks it's fantastic as she always used to complain that I used
to re-cable things and she couldn't get anything to work properly.
