When I did my sums, on how much we would need, I at first thought one
box would do it - so the added cost would be modest.   Generally, I
multiply first estimates by three - still not to bad.   Then Paul
said he'd used the best part of 10km of Cat-5e in his house ...

best price I've seen, for shielded, is about 90GPB + VAT ...

Unshielded Cat-6 is about the same, for a box (305m) ...
