Internal TFT cable over CAT5 ?

  • Subject: Internal TFT cable over CAT5 ?

Im disecting an old laptop - so I can use it as a picture frame.

Looking inside, there are 2 wires going to the brightness board, and 10
cables going to the tft itself.

The cable going to the brightness board is thicker than all the others,
but not exactly large. Any reason why I cant send all of these cables over
cat5 ? That way i can house the main laptop portion in Node0 and just have
the display locally. Not sure what the quality would be like tho !

It's a laptop so youd think it's low ampage....
