On a side note and related, friend of mine has his own little delivery
business - and he ants to use Barcodes for his labels - of course this
would need to be linked into a system as a whole.

Ever see a tracking system to buy off the shelf that has barcodes ? He
wants to use PDA's with scanners on the road, linked back via GPRS

Hi all,

We're about to implement a number of Symbol rugged pda devices at
work, currently when you get a good decode from a barcode it emits a
beep, very annoying after a while, however.....audible confirmation is
required, so.....amongst all us lot on here, someone must have some
suggestions (and hopefully an archive) of cool....suitable....and most
probably very geeky sounds for such a purpose!

Part of me initially thought of like a swoosh star trek doors style
but not sure thats really the answer!

suggestions welcomed, need to try and get this nailed this week so
need all the help I can get! :) thanks

Noel
