Hi,
I've recently gone from a media center freeview setup to Sky+ and I
really miss the extras that media center gave me but I do like the new
channels :)
My question is this, is there an elegant solution to integrate Sky+
into Vista media center? I know that I can attach the IR sender to the
sky+ box and change channels/record but is that it? Will I sacrifice
the dual tuner of the Sky+?
For example, what I'd like to see is a plug-in that utilizes remote
record to tell the Sky+ box to record programs in a nice EPG style
format on the media center. Then for playback the IR sender can send
commands to the sky+ box to access the planner and playback the
recording. Also maybe a night time scheduled task that would off load
the content from the Sky+ box via the 'copy' function and RF2, to the
media center so it can be access by other computers around the house?
Am I asking too much or should I get my programming hat on?
Jamie
