PowerMax+ - as a silent alarm (plus a sleeping sensor issue)

Hi all,

Ok - by now some of you will be fed up with me asking questions all the
time, for which I apologise and hope to return the favour back to the group
sometime (whenever something comes up that I can answer!).

I have two queries, both concerning my PowerMax+ system.

The first: I have purposely configured the system to act as a 'silent'
alarm. Therefore, I do not have a wireless alarm siren (or wired) and I
have
the piezzo siren off also. Yet the system consistently reports TROUBLE and
then says "S01 Wireless Siren" - I guess it hates the fact it's
not
connected. Can I suppress this?

The second: my Visonic PIR's go to sleep, and never wake up. Even when I
arm
the system as AWAY. This is most frustrating, as its only working off the
magnetic contact sensor on the door. Useless really! FYI, I have to trigger
the tamper sensor on the PIR before the LEDs light up. I know these PIRs
have a 2 min sleep timer, but surely they should wake up again for
detection
purposes when the alarm is armed?

Thanks

Rich
