X10 with change-over

  • Subject: X10 with change-over

I'm wanting to rig up some outside lights that we can easily control
via our remotes. We have an Infrared to X10 bridge, so I'll probably
use X10.

We also want our PIRs to be disabled when we turn on the outside
lights. I don't know whether to put in some cable with two lives
(intermediate switch cable) or whether to use local X10 modules that
have change over (NO and NC) connections.

Are there any such X10 modules?
Or could I use LW12s (in wall lighting modules) to control the outside
lights and put a relay in parallel with the light that disables the PIR
when the lights are on? I reckon the relay will trigger for even low-
levels on the LW12 (but hopefully not when off!)

Thoughts?
