Assuming that you're on BT of course ... Not all exchanges are owned by BT.

Even the poxy BT badged and supplied "2Wire" router that is here
where I'm
living at the moment doesn't have a BT Green sticker on it. There is no
longer any requirement for telecoms equipment to be specifically tested by
BT and stickered by them.
