I dont and never have used plug in filters on both lines - both have
NTE5
DSL faceplates..interesting tho

Maybe so, but it's still plugged into BT's exchange, to which it's
still illegal to connect 'unauthorised' devices.  Approved =
Authorised.  Same law (Telco act) applies to VM, and any other Telco
network.
