Re: cctv server
How about a cheap camera with IP server built-in? Maybe cheaper the a
composite video IP server.
I've used these http://www.panasonic.co.uk/ip-cameras/blc1.html
at
about =A360 they are cheap and construction is poor but do the trick.
If I remember correctly, it comes with Panasonic IP recorder software
which runs on a PC to do recording - over local network.
For realtime viewing you need a browser - so maybe a cheap low-spec PC
connected to a monitor. Or maybe a tablet like Samsung Q1.
Just some thoughts......we have moved to Axis (www.axis.com) products
for custom install now - due to hugh product range, well documented
tech specs/integration options and high quality of products...... but
they come at a price!
An Axis solution would be something like the 241S server (
http://www.axis.com/products/cam_241s/index.htm
) which has one in and
one output. Axis PC software is free to record for one channel of video.
